Annie Sloan Introduces New 'Painters in Residence' Programme
Program to Showcase Talented Individuals From Around the WorldApril 06 2015
Toronto, Ontario (April 8, 2015) - - After working with paint in interiors for over 25 years and writing over 20 books on decorative painting, Annie Sloan has launched an industry first 'Painters in Residence' Programme. The PIR Programme showcases talented individuals from around the world who have been personally selected by Annie to demonstrate the creative possibilities of using her popular Chalk Paint™.
The PIR concept is inspired by 'artist in residence' programmes run in art galleries and museums. Every three months Annie Sloan will invite three creative individuals from the interiors world to be the current Painters in Residence. Each PIR is carefully selected for their style and the interesting work that they create. The PIRs will work from their own studios, while being supported and guided by Annie to produce five, or more, projects using Annie Sloan products, including Chalk Paint™ and decorative finishes such as Clear Wax, Dark Wax, Decoupage Varnish, Craqueleur, Brushes, plus books for inspiration. The results will be showcased on Annie Sloan social media.
